Connecting at the Vineyard
We believe that being fully immersed in a church is God’s design for life. Full involvement at the Vineyard happens in these four settings.
Every Sunday morning we gather to celebrate and draw near to God as a church family. When you visit, be sure to stop by our guest connect desk in the foyer to meet one of our pastors, they’d love to help you start connecting. They’ll ask you to fill out a Connect Card to get a followup call from one of our pastoral staff.
When we gather as a Christian church, its possible to give our neighbors a vision of what it looks like when God gets His way & will done (as in heaven). Each weekend, we do everything possible to give our neighbors a preview to the Great Party by thinking like party hosts. What’s more, we actually ‘get more’ out of church when we act like Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve.
Discipleship groups are about growing up in to all it means to love and live like Jesus. There are a variety of groups to connect with, from home groups, men’s and women’s study groups, recovery groups, parent/teen groups, and informal discipleship circles.
We are the Christian church every day of the week, not just Sundays. Together, we are finding creative ways to meet real needs in our community, just as Jesus would – and did! There are organized opportunities to get involved with our food pantry and community garden, our jail ministry, our Recovery program, and other seasonal or one-time projects. We’d love to help you find a place to serve that fits your gifts, and so we offer a periodic Connect Class to help you find your place. If you’d like details on the next Connect Class offering, email our Connect Pastor.
